A library of things that can disappear.
This is the preservation layer of Shadorux: an index connecting surviving fan sites, prototype documentation, fan projects, visual media, web graphics, and promotional history. Some material lives on Shadorux; some survives elsewhere and is linked to its current archival home.
Old Shadow web
Independent Shadow sites are part of the character's history too. These surviving pages preserve the look, writing, collections, and obsessions of the fan web.

Mods, hacks, fan games, and technical projects extend Shadow's history beyond official releases. Keeping their names and surviving project pages connected makes them harder to lose.

Renders, promotional art, screenshots, wallpapers, blinkies, stamps, buttons, and fan-web graphics are easy to separate from their original context. Shadorux keeps local collections browsable.
