Walk of Game unveiling
Contemporary reporting establishes the game's public unveiling around Sonic's Walk of Game induction. This is the reveal event, not the preserved trailer's release date.
A record of the moving-image campaign: announcement footage, promotional movies, television and cinema advertising, gameplay footage, and the m-flo collaboration.
The surviving record spans much more than one launch trailer. Sonic Stadium preserves several named commercials and promotional videos, GameSpot retains an index of official trailers, gameplay movies, a developer interview and Nintendo E3 footage, and Sonic Channel's first-party update log records when promotional movies appeared on the Japanese official site.
Dates below are kept narrow. In particular, the March 8 Walk of Game unveiling and the March 15 date attached to the preserved announcement trailer are not treated as the same event.

Sonic Stadium identifies a high-quality 60-second UK advertisement circulated in cinemas and on television.
A separate 30-second commercial is exposed by Sonic Stadium's related-video records. The research dossier does not establish original broadcaster or agency provenance.
A separate spot survives under this title. It remains a target for fuller regional and production metadata.
A dedicated Japanese commercial survives from the m-flo collaboration. It is distinct from the longer TRIPOD BABY promotional music video.
SEGA documented the m-flo collaboration shoot on October 9. On November 2, Sonic Channel said the Shadow remix had reached the iTunes Music Store and that its CG footage would be used in TV advertising from late November and made viewable on the official Shadow website.
